Calm,
close by.
The Yasu™ looks like jewellery. When big feelings arrive, it becomes a simple, screen-free breathing cue—helping kids slow down and reconnect with the moment.

They already love it in real life.
At Beautiful Minds experiences, the Yasu™ is one of the tools children reach for—and parents ask to take home. Discreet enough to wear every day. Simple enough to use in the moments that matter.

Breathe in
Take a comfortable, unforced breath in through the nose.
Breathe out through the Yasu™
The narrow airway encourages a slower, longer exhale.
Repeat gently
Use it as a familiar cue to pause and bring attention back to the breath.

A small tool for big-feeling moments.
Keep the Yasu™ close for the times words are hard to find.
- Before school, performances or appointments
- During transitions, travel or crowded places
- When frustration, worry or overwhelm begins to build
- At bedtime, as part of a familiar wind-down ritual
Designed to be worn—not hidden away.
The most useful wellbeing tool is the one they will actually keep with them. The Yasu™ has a clean, minimal form that looks like a modern necklace, so support is within reach without announcing itself to the room.

The science is in the breathing.
Slow-paced breathing is a well-studied self-regulation strategy. In a randomised field study involving 342 young children, a one-minute guided slow-breathing exercise lowered average physiological arousal. Effects were greater during the second half, when most slow breathing occurred.
A separate randomised trial of 111 healthy adults compared five minutes a day of controlled breathing with mindfulness over one month. The exhale-focused cyclic-sighing group showed the greatest daily improvement in positive feelings and a larger reduction in resting breathing rate.
The Yasu™ has a practical role: its narrow airway provides a physical cue that can make a slow, extended exhale easier to practise and remember.
